Children today face various stressors and challenges, from academic pressures to digital distractions. Kids yoga offers a sanctuary where they can unwind, explore movement, and connect with themselves and others in a supportive environment. ​

What To Expect in a Kids Yoga Class?

Our kids yoga classes are designed to be inclusive, interactive, and age-appropriate. Led by experienced and certified instructors, each session incorporates a variety of yoga poses, games, songs, storytelling, and relaxation techniques to keep children entertained while fostering their well-being.

Whether your child is a curious beginner or an experienced yogi, our classes offer something for everyone. We provide a safe and supportive space where children can explore yoga, express themselves, and make new friends.

Toddler Yoga: Ages 2-4

  • Focus: Exploration, play, and basic movement.

  • Activities: Simple yoga poses, animal imitations, songs, and games.

  • Benefits: Developing body awareness, coordination, and social skills.

Preschool Yoga: Ages 4-6

  • Focus: Imagination, creativity, and basic yoga concepts.

  • Activities: Storytelling with yoga poses, partner poses, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques.

  • Benefits: Enhancing focus, self-expression, and emotional regulation.

Kids Yoga: 6-12

  • Focus: Building strength, flexibility, and mindfulness.

  • Activities: More structured yoga sequences, breathing techniques for stress relief, mindfulness exercises, and group activities.

Kids Yoga: 13-18

  • Focus: Stress management, self-awareness, and positive body image.

  • Activities: Dynamic yoga flows, longer relaxation sessions, meditation, journaling, and discussions on topics relevant to teens.

Kids yoga is a playful and interactive approach to traditional yoga practices, tailored to suit the unique needs and interests of children. Through a combination of yoga poses, breathing exercises, mindfulness activities, and creative play, kids yoga classes provide a holistic and enjoyable experience for young yogis.

I work with a range of clients who’ve experienced trauma in childhood or as an adult, as well as domestic violence. I also work with client's who have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), depression, anxiety, mood disorders or self-esteem issues.

Jess works with people who experience, or have been diagnosed with, the following:​
