Yoga & Movement
Therapy

Yoga and Movement Therapy support mental and physical wellbeing by helping to release tension, increase body awareness, and improve emotional balance.

These approaches encourage mindfulness, grounding, and resilience, offering a gentle yet powerful way to manage stress and enhance overall health.

Trauma-Informed Yoga and Movement Therapy -

for Children, Adults and All Abilities

I am a certified Yoga instructor, trained to teach both children and adults, and I also have specialised training that allows me to deliver yoga for people of all abilities, making my practice truly inclusive and accessible to everyone.

Additionally I have specialised training in trauma-informed yoga, which means I am able to create a safe, supportive environment and yoga session for people who may be carrying stress, anxiety, or past trauma.

Movement and Yoga In a Clinical Setting

Yoga and Movement Therapy combine the wisdom of the body with the healing power of mindful movement.

In the clinical setting, these approaches go beyond exercise by encouraging presence, self-awareness, and emotional release. Through gentle postures, breathwork, and guided movement, you can learn to reconnect with your body, reduce stress, and cultivate a sense of balance and calm.

Movement practices can also help shift stagnant emotions, ease physical tension, and strengthen the mind–body connection, supporting both mental health and overall wellbeing.

Benefits of Movement and Yoga In a Clinical Setting

  • Supports anxiety and stress management by calming the nervous system through breath and mindful movement;
